Hi for some reason we don’t have to start the car for the lights to come on they just stay on and it’s really annoying me how can I fix this ?

@@CARLISONIT thanks for your reply no they’re hidden in centre console and plugged into usb port. I’ve worked it out now, the lights come on when I unlock car and turn off 5 mins after locking it thank you tho! Nice vid

Where did you route the USB connector from the head unit? On my 2013 E88 there’s nowhere for the cable to be accessed?
How many GB RAM and Core have this unit ? Is it 8GB + 128 GB / 8 Core or less ?
@@TheBecome it’s 8 Core 4GB RAM 32GB which is very fast but you can request for bigger ram and has expandable memory up-to 1 terra-byte 👍🏾💯

@@HD-hc2ho this one doesn’t need a fitting kit it’s like £8 for the key to remove the stereo the pioneer headunit is quite limited and slow, had few people message me telling me they removed theirs to fit the one in the video
Great video, just replaced mine. One thing....Why is it called the fuel saver?
@@tubularbelter thank you it’s a fuel saver because it’s a 1.25litre engine it saves me on fuel in comparison to my BMW M235i with a 3.0 litre turbo and the Mercedes with the 3.0 v6 also the new radio is lighter than the old one which saves on fuel 🤣👍🏾💯

@@MrRawUK thank you and £400 you must have put 2 in your basket it’s around £250. Also to note the cheaper models you see elsewhere have usually 1-2gb ram 4 core which are slow and problematic, the one in the link in the video is 4GB Ram 8 core processor basically it’s no lag and is fast 👍🏾💯

if I install this does this keep the car health information? because I'd like to upgrade the radio but I wouldn't want to lose the features that comes with the vehicle such as whenever I get a notification on when anything is wrong with the car.

2003 CLK ( C209) stereo with centre dash speaker. original head unit speaker connection uses an Optics connector,. The new head unit does have optic connection for speakers ? If not, how did you connect ? Please share. Thank you
